By the end of this course, participants will be proficient in applying transactional accounting principles to accurately record financial events. The key learning outcomes include:
- Double-Entry Accounting: Learners will master recording double-entry transactions, including debit and credit entries for sales, purchases, receivables, payables, and cash transactions.
- Inventory, Accruals, and Prepayments: Participants will learn to record inventories, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring these are accurately reflected in sales, purchases, receivables, payables, and cash transactions.
- Cash Flow Statements: Learners will be able to prepare basic cash flow statements, detailing all incoming and outgoing cash transactions for reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Financial Reporting Guidelines: Participants will gain an understanding of the guidelines within the Singapore financial reporting regulatory framework and learn to interpret these effectively.
